Southwest Arkansas Drowning

LEWISVILLE – Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office responded early Friday to a 911 call on Lake Erling in reference to a boating accident and a possible drowning. Deputies responded to the incident and began to gather information.

After an extensive search of the lake, Saturday at 7:45 am, authorities recovered the body of James Mills IV, 20 years old, of Bradley Arkansas.

Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office extended their thanks to Bossier Parish Dive Team, Lafayette County Dive Team, Pinnacle Search & Rescue, Arkansas Game and Fish, Lake Erling Fire & Rescue, Walker Creek Fire Department, and the many volunteers that assisted in the incident.
