Southwest Arkansas Parks Open Amid COVID-19 Limitations

LITTLE ROCK – Southwest Arkansas State Parks remain open as COVID-19 and the impact of coronavirus in our state is monitored. Access to certain park facilities will be limited effective and the CDC’s recommended precautions are in place to provide a safe environment for park guests.

Park Specific Information

Historic Washington State Park – Gift shop closed, Restaurant carry out only, group lodging open for less than 50 people no daily housekeeping service, no historic tours, all historic buildings are closed, Day use areas* are open

White Oak Lake State Park – Visitor Center closed, Day use areas* are open excluding playground, trails are open, no boat rental

Millwood State Park – Visitor Center closed, Marina open only for equipment rental, Day use areas* are open excluding playground, trails are open

Cossatot River State Park-Natural Area – Visitor center closed, trails are open, Day use areas are open excluding playground

Crater of Diamonds State Park – Visitor Center closed. Day use areas* are open excluding playground, Diamond search field is closed as of 03-21-2020, no rental equipment, Diamond Discovery Center is closed

Daisy State Park – Visitor Center closed, trails are open, Day use areas* are open excluding playground

*Day use area may include: Picnic sites, open air pavilions, boat ramps, fishing piers, tennis courts, volleyball court, basketball courts, playgrounds (closed), beach (non-lifeguard), Trails and overlooks, lakes and rivers
