Blevins to Address COVID-19 School Closing

BLEVINS – Governor Asa Hutchinson announced Monday the plans for the remainder of the public school year. The Blevins School District has released the following statement:

“As you are aware, the Governor has made the decision to close all school buildings to on-site instruction. We will continue AMI assignments/off-site instruction for the remainder of the school year.

Although we anticipated this news, the directives and information coming in from the Arkansas Department of Education are still an ongoing process. We have a solid plan until April 17th; therefore, we are going to take the remainder of this week to develop plans through the end of the school year. We will post these decisions next week.

We have appreciated your positive communication and collaboration during this unprecedented time.

Friday starts our three day break for Easter. We hope all of you enjoy this time.
