Dale Glanton

Fire Chief Dale Glanton, age 58 of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Friday April 3, 2020, in Little Rock Arkansas. Dale was born on August 21, 1961, in Hope, Arkansas, to James and Jean Williams Glanton. He started serving the City of Hope in 1984 as a firefighter. During his time, he took classes from the Arkansas fire academy. Mr. Glanton was promoted to Captain in 1999 and in the same year to Assistant fire Chief. Dale served as Assistant Fire Chief until January 8, 2011, when he was appointed Interim Fire Chief. He became Fire Chief on April 21, 2011. He was of Baptist Faith.

Survivors include: his wife of 38 years Donna Glanton, one son; Tyler Glanton, parents James and Jean Glanton, several cousins and a host of friends.
