Hope police log

HOPE – On April 20, 2020, at approximately 1120pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Artavious Benton, 20, of Little Rock, Arkansas and charged him with aggravated residential burglary, battery 1^st degree, and fleeing on foot.  The arrest occurred in the 900 block of West Avenue B, in Hope.  Benton was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On April 23, 2020, at approximately 6:15pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Otis L. Ward, 43, of Hope, Arkansas and charged him with aggravated assault and possession of firearms by certain persons.  The arrest occurred in the 300 block of South Washington Street, in Hope. Ward was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
