HOPE – Tired of being cooped up because of COVID-19?

Ready to see a movie again? If so, get ready to make the trip to the University of Arkansas Hope/Texarkana (UAHT) as the college is bringing back a blast from the past – drive in movies. These won’t be the cheesy sci-fi movies from the 1950s either, but more modern films including: Moana on May 16; Nacho Libre on May 23; and Angels in the Outfield  on May 30.

However, there are still rules to be followed. First, no smoking is allowed. All those attending the movies must stay inside their vehicles unless they need to use the restroom. To do that, people are asked to drive to the Anthony Routon Pavilion by the walking track. Those using the facilities must wear masks of some kind of face covering and should stay six-feet apart.

Those going to the movies are also asked to follow standard drive-in ettiquitte and keep their lights off until the movie is over. Keep all trash inside vehicles and when the movie ends, use the two marked exits.

The movies will be shown in the back parking lot on the ACCH campus and will begin at 8:30 p.m.

To donate for Hope for All, visit HempsteadHall.com to use a debit card, or leave a cash donation in the drop box at the front of the parking lot. Do not get out of the vehicle to make the donation, use it as a drive-through
