Authorities Arrest Several on Theft and Drug Charges

HOPE – 8th North Task Force, Hempstead and Nevada County Deputies and Arkansas Community Corrections have arrested  two suspects in for an April burglary and three more  for narcotics violations.

Monday, agents of the 8th North Task Force learned through investigation and developed possible suspects who were allegedly in possession of stolen property that was taken  April 8, from a cabin located on Hempstead County Road 144 South.

The victim reported that two Honda generators, a Keurig Coffeemaker, chain saw, various tools and hunting clothes  were stolen.

Task Force Agents Justin Crane, Gary Dorman, Jeremy McBride, Codey Ferguson, Robert Missey, Deputies Marla Gullion and Eric Garner of the Hempstead County Sheriff’s Office, along with Arkansas Community Corrections Officers went to a residence on County Road 258 and arrested Cody Fowler, age 30, of Blevins, for Residential Burglary and Theft of Property. Fowler also was allegedly in possession of a controlled substance, Methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. Fowler was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility in Hope, where he is awaiting a first court appearance for the charges.

Arrested in connection with the burglary at another location was Justin Lynn Isley, age 30, of Emmet. Isley was charged with Residential Burglary and Theft of Property.

As officers continued to investigate and attempt to recover the stolen property, they developed information Dillon Jester may have allegedly had possession of one of the Honda Generators. A witness allegedly stated, quote, “they remembered seeing Dillon with a red generator and he had let his brother, Damion Jester use it while they were waiting to get their electricity turned on in their new house.”Unquote. Agents and Officers went to a residence where they discovered Dillon and Damion Jester, who are on parole.

As officers talked with the subjects Arkansas Community Corrections Officers conducted a search of the residence. Officers allegedly found Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia inside the residence. Agents arrested Damion Jester, age 26, of Prescott, Myllyssa Bryant, age 24, of Prescott, for Possession of a Controlled Substance; Methamphetamine and Marijuana, and Maintaining a Drug Premises. Also arrested was Michael D (Dillon) Jester, age 25, of Prescott, for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Controlled Substance; Methamphetamine.  All were transported to HCDF to await a first court appearance.

Throughout the day, agents recovered a Honda Generator, A chainsaw, a Keurig Coffeemaker and other items that were reported stolen. All of which will be returned to the owner at some point.

The case remains active as deputies expect to make other arrests in the case.
