Nannie Bonner

Nannie Mae Bonner was born on Tuesday, November 13, 1928 to Andrew and Mary Dixon in Gilmer, Texas. Nannie attended public school there. She also confessed Christ at an early age. Nannie later moved to Dallas, TX where she became a member of God’s Holy Temple.

For years, she worked as a Chef for Neiman Marcus restaurants. After retiring, Nannie moved to Washington, Arkansas. She remained a resident of Washington, AR until she passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 9, 2020, at the age of 91 years old. She will always be remembered in our hearts.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Mary Dixon and Andrew Dixon Sr.; four sisters, Sedalia, Gladys, Bessie, and Bernice; three brothers, Andrew Jr., Samuel and Marshall.

She is survived by two daughters, Tassie Lockett of Washington, AR and Patsy (Hervie) Long of Red Oak, TX; one sister, Dorothy Gibson of Dallas, TX, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

**Graveside Service – Saturday, May 16, 2020 at 11:00 am @Westmoreland Cemetery, Washington, AR.
