Mary Virginia Brandon

Mary Virginia Brandon, 90, of Gurdon, Arkansas passed away May 19, 2020. Virginia was born November 3, 1929 to the late Luke and Mary Jones Wingfield in Clark County, Arkansas. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Gurdon.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Brandon; baby sister, Thelma Louise Wingfield; brothers, Noel, Leo and J.W. Wingfield; and by great grandson, Gavin Smithpeters.

Virginia is survived by her son, Tom Ed (Brenda) Brandon of Crowley, LA; daughter, Sharon (Jimmy) Gattis of Gurdon, AR; six grandchildren, Heather (Kenny) Spruill, Donovan (Jennifer) Brandon, Jojo (Jay) Smithpeters, Brandon (Amy) Gattis, Angela (Brad) Nash and Scotty (Crystal) Habetz; thirteen great grandchildren, Bryce Brandon, Haley Habetz, Austin Nash, Kenley Spruill, Gabrielle “Gabby” Brandon, Ethan Nash, Abby Habetz, Jake Spruill, Sarah Brandon, Jillian Habetz, Zak Smithpeters, Gini Kait Smithpeters, and Lottie Gattis. She is also survived by two “special grandkids” Kimberly and Kristen.

A graveside service will be 10:30am Saturday, May 23, 2020 at Center Ridge Cemetery Gurdon. Bro. Mike Taylor and Bro. Randall Murphy will officiate under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home Gurdon.
