Old Washington Farmers’ Market Guidelines

By Joseph Barry, 07/19/20 7:10 PM

The Old Washington Farmers’ Market installed some guidelines at the market to insure our safety against COVID 19. Things such as requiring that vendors use hand sanitizer after every time that the vendor gives/receives money. Jaimie Williams, one of the managers at the market in Washington says that they require that the vendors wear a mask, and require that booths be 10 feet apart from each other. The managers also installed a hand washing booth near the pavilion in case a vendor does not have hand sanitizer. There is also a person available to handle change in case the vendor needs to handle produce. Posted at the entry ways of the pavilion are signs reminding customers to stay six feet away from vendors and each-other. These rules will be in place until the Governor says otherwise
