HOPE – Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce has updated their current activities and future plans.
“We hope you have enjoyed “Let’s Go Live” on Tuesdays and Thursdays at noon & 12:30!  We have certainly enjoyed showcasing members.  As we mentioned when “LGL” kicked off, we will eventually showcase every member.  Since many of you are still waiting to open your main entrances, we will wait until you are ready before going “live” with you,” chamber director Beckie Moore said.
“We wanted to pop on to let you know how much we appreciate those who have ordered  shirts!   98 shirts have been ordered, so we need 102 additional shirts to be ordered(and paid for) before we can start printing.  Going the very conservative route this year, due to the loss of the festival.  Thank you for understanding.”
Moore asked, “Were you excited to hear the news pertaining to the festival concert?  “NOT The Watermelon Festival Concert Concert” will take place virtually this year.  Thanks to the great and talented team at Hempstead Hall, we will be able to enjoy South Down Main in concert on the Hempstead Hall stage on Saturday, August 15 at 7:00 PM.  Prior to the concert, Watermelon Idol will take place at 4:00 PM and at 6:00 PM, everyone will enjoy the Watermelon Singer UnMasked!   All performances can be viewed on HempsteadHall.com “LIVE” on August 15, 2020!”
