4th District U.S. Congressman Bruce Westerman Visits Pafford In Hope
4th District Congressman Bruce Westerman visited the Pafford Administrative Building on West 16th on Thursday. The Congressman took some time out during his August recess to recognize the Pafford paramedics and commend them on the work they do. Said the Congressman, “First responders…they’re the ones that have to treat every case like the person could have Covid. They don’t have the opportunity to work remotely…they’re very essential. Just wanted to come by and say “thank you” as we’re doing this tour”. He continued “We’re recognizing those folks that make the wheels go round whether it’s farmers, truck drivers, people working in food processing, ambulance, police, fire….without these people going out and working on the front lines, the rest of us would suffer greatly. A big thank-you to all the essential workers in Hempstead County!”
In addition to checking out a Pafford ambulance with the Pafford Crew led by John Gray, the Congressman also presented Ben and Jamie Pafford-Gresham with a copy of remarks he had entered into the Congressional record praising the contributions of the Pafford staff.
