HOPE – Hope Public Schools students who have opted to study via the Hope from Home Virtual Academy this year are also eligible for free breakfast and lunch meals which will be distributed by the district.

HPS Nutrition Services Director Deanna Gilbert said the meals distributions will be made on Mondays and Wednesdays between 4:30-5:30 p.m. in the bus lane on the Yerger Middle School campus.

Gilbert said the following requirements apply:

–Only students enrolled in Hope from Home Virtual Academy may receive specially distributed meals.

–Each student’s name and grade in school should be posted in the window of the student’s vehicle upon arrival at the YMS bus lane.

–Monday distributions will include meals for Monday and Tuesday; and, Wednesday distributions will include meals for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

The distributions will begin the first day of school, Monday, Aug. 24. Meals are free of charge for the student.
