Hope Landmark Falls

The former Spates Florist building was torn down on Monday.  We at the Hope-Prescott News are among thousands of people who have good memories of the many Floral arrangements we sent from Spates.  The building has been empty since the retirement of the late Olen Dorman.  We look forward to nee development on the spot but it is bittersweet as we remember Olen, the Spates family, and the many people who helped with flowers on the many important occasions in our lives.
