PRESCOTT – Everyone’s tired of being stuck at home because of COVID-19.

Here’s a chance to get out and about. On Oct. 10, from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., the Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce is holding its annual Fall Festival.

The day will kick off at 8 a.m. with the 5K run/walk, followed by the first golden pumpkin clue at 9:30, when the winners of the 5K will also be announced.

At 10, the basketball shootout will be held, followed by a performance by members of Dancetastics at 10:30. The Lil Firecracker Freedom Run will be held at 11:30 a.m., when the second clue for the golden pumpkin will be given – if needed. Whoever finds the golden pumpkin will go home with $100.

The Night Hawk Band will take the stage at 12:30 p.m. and the festival will end at 4 p.m. with the cutest baby contest winner named, along with the winners of the variousĀ  raffles.

The deadline to enter the 5K run/walk is Sept. 23. This is for the early birds who’ll receive a t-shirt. Vendors need to register by Oct. 2, and the deadline for the beautiful baby contest is Oct. 5.

Along with these events there will be food trucks, train, arts and crafts and plenty of other booths set up with something for pretty much everyone.

To register, or for more information, call the Chamber at 870-887-2101.
