Here is a little believe it or not from Nevada County Rescue. Earlier this evening Nevada County Sheriff Deputy responded to an accident on Hwy 24 just East of the 53 junction. Dispatch advised no none injuries at the time . Once the deputy arrived he noticed a woman still sitting in her car and appeared to not have any injuries. No names will be used for privacy purposes. The deputy made contact with her and she was obviously shaken with her vehicle being destroyed but still had a smile on her face. During the investigation into the accident it was determined through significant evidence that her vehicle actually jumped the tree, yes jumped. Look closely at the pictures you will find her lower right shock mount imbedded in the top of the tree and an oil trail from her ruined engine leading to her resting spot.

The point is if you have never seen a miracle your not looking hard enough. This lady must have had the hand of god lift her car over that tree and set it on the other side. Why not a crack broken window or injury . Every time a firefighter or an officer leaves we have the privilege to not only witness miracles but be a part of one from time to time and that is rewarding enough. If you see an officer or a firefighter thank them for what they do they are sacrificing their time with their families for you .
