Leon Nelson Sr., was born on Monday, July 15, 1946 in Bradley, Arkansas to the late Mertis Bradley and Jim Nelson. Leon’s life consisted of many special things. He hauled pulpwood for several years and was renowned for his knowledge of and ability to build high performing engines. Leon was revered by many as the best auto mechanic in and outside the area. Leon enjoyed watching car races and racing cars himself. Many have benefited from Leon’s tutelage of auto mechanics.
Leon had several favorite pass times including watching karate movies, watching Westerns, drinking coffee, dressing in fine fashions and being sociable.
