HOPE – With the 2020-2021 school year rolling at a distinctly different pace in the COVID-19 context, the Hope High School Future Farmers of America chapter has decided to “roll” out a different sort of fundraiser.

“Yes, the Hope FFA is doing a little different fundraiser,” FFA Sponsor Christina Smith said in making the announcement. “We are doing a digital Texas Road House fundraiser.”

The popular Texarkana eatery has agreed to let the Hope FFA sell its famous dinner rolls in frozen packaging.

“We are selling frozen Texas Roadhouse rolls and butter, as well as gift cards,” Smith said.

But, in order to en-roll your order, Smith said FFA students are going digital to abide by COVID-19 safety protocols.

“We are really excited to be given this opportunity,” she said. “Since it is a digital fundraiser, you will not see kiddos bringing a circular around; instead, we are sending out an order link.”

Orders may be placed through https://na.eventscloud.com/hopeffa online only, Smith said.

“You will be able to order until Oct. 16,” she said. “I will pick up the rolls and bring them back to the high school on Nov. 17.”

Orders may be picked up at the HHS Agri Building on Nov. 17.

“Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns by calling 870-777-3451, extension 649,” Smith said.
