PRESCOTT – There were plenty of bargains to be found along Hwy. 67 Saturday during Garage Sale Heaven on Hwy. 67.

Vendors set up shop along the highway, stretching from the donut shop all the way to Emmet, though there were some areas where there were no sales outside of town. However, in the downtown area, people were set up pretty much where they could find space. Sales appeared to go well as customers flocked to the different locations to see what was available. There was pretty much something for everyone, ranging from baby clothes and other baby items to cast iron cookware.

Project graduation set up shop in the Bank of Delight parking lot, offering free car washes (donations accepted). Those wanting to get their vehicle washed had a wait as a line quickly formed for the service.

In Emmet, the EVA held its annual yard sale, offering cookware, Christmas decorations, plants and other paraphernalia. The funds raised by this group go to pay for different community events it puts on,  including the Christmas party after Emmet’s annual Christmas parade.

Overall, everyone had a good time, either buying or selling, or even just looking.
