Good crowd on hand for Fall Fest

PRESCOTT – A good crowd showed up for the Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Fall Festival Saturday.

The festival started with the 5K run/walk, which had a smaller field than usual. It didn’t stop those participating from giving it their all and the winning time was around 20 minutes. The weather was perfect for the race as it was cool and overcast.

There was a threat of rain early on, but the sun broke through around 10 a.m. and people showed up in droves to see what the vendors had to offer. There was something for pretty much everyone, ranging from handmade fishing lures to homemade honey. The audience was entertained by members of Dancetastics and the Night Hawk Band.
