A Blevins landmark has reopened. Pedro’s Hornet Hut in downtown Blevins has been closed for the past several months since COVID-19 started but reopened this week. Owner Donna Roberts jokingly said she got tired of people coming up to her in stores in Hope and asking when they would be able to purchase their favorite hamburger again. On a more serious note she noted the restaurant met all health department requirements to reopen. Pedro’s will be open for breakfast and lunch and everyone in the vicinity of north Hempstead County is invited to stop by.
