Give them candy, they will come

PRESCOTT – To say the Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce’s Trick or Treat on Elm Street was a success would be an understatement.

People began lining up well before the 5:30 p.m. start time, with the line stretching from the Elm and Second all the way to Main and down Main. Most of the youngsters, and some of the adults, were in costume. The costume contest also began at 5:30 with the winners receiving – you guessed it – more candy. Roughly 10 people at a time were allowed in the event to provide some social distancing. However, the length of the line remained unchanged, even after the costume contest ended.

There was no chance of danger as there were plenty of superheroes on hand should any villains show up. In addition, there were policemen and firefighters there to lend a hand.
