PRESCOTT – To support Nevada County’s local food pantry, Arkansas FoodShare, the Nevada County 4-H, the Extension Homemaker’s Council (“EHC”), and the Master Gardeners are conducting a county-wide food drive November 3rd through close of business Monday, November 16.
Food is an essential of life and for many of our fellow citizens, both children and adults, it is not readily available.  There is a critical need for food at our local food bank.  As we prepare for our Thanksgiving Holiday, please consider donating to the Nevada County 4-H, EHC & Master Gardener Food Drive.  You may contribute by either giving shelf stable food or a monetary donation in the form of a check made payable to Arkansas FoodShare located in Prescott.
Donations of food can be delivered to the Extension office at 877 E. Main Street in Prescott, or dropped into one of the Food Drive Collection boxes located at Cash Savers in Prescott or Odell and Paula’s, at 5599 U.S. Hwy. 371 in Willisville.   Monetary donations can be dropped off at the Extension office or mailed to the Nevada County Extension Service at 877 E. Main Street, Prescott, AR  71857.  You may also contact the Extension office and arrange for pickup.  Please call 870-887-2818 if you have any questions concerning this Food Drive.
