Catherine Smith, 94, of Arkadelphia passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. She was born April 15, 1926 to Hubert and Elsie Harris Covington. She loved to spend time reading and gardening.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lester Smith; her son, Larry and daughter, Brenda.

Mrs. Catherine is survived by one son, Rick Smith and wife Betty; one daughter, Jean Bergeron and husband John; one sister, Sue Smith; ten grandchildren, Tommy, Darrel, Robbie, Melinda, Mark, Marty, Thaisa, Jason, Jared and Justin; twenty three great grandchildren, Luke, Todd, Kyle, Ryan, Trent, Mason, Taylor, Kara, Kailee, Jack, Mark, Elizabeth, Kolby, Brittni, Kennedy, Aiden, Jagger, Jaxon, Gavin, Caroline, Cora, Ceeli and Cade and a number of great-great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held 11:00am Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Southfork Cemetery. Charlie Williams will officiate under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home Gurdon.
