71st Annual Hope Lions Auction Set For Thursday, Friday, and Saturday At Fair Park Coliseum

The 71st Annual Hope Lions Club Christmas Auction is set for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 6pm in Hope’s Fair Park Coliseum.  The annual event raises funds to pay for Christmas baskets of food for needy Hempstead County residents and also helps to fund other local Lions community projects.

This year’s event will follow CDC guidelines.  Those attending are urged to social distance and will need to wear a face mask.  For those who don’t want to attend in person, the auction will be streamed live at swark.today and will be heard live on the radio on KHOA-FM/107.9.  Those watching online or listening on the radio will be able to bid via telephone.

The Hope Evening Lions will once again operate a concession stand at the auction.  The concession stand will operate under health department COVID guidelines but will once again feature plenty of great food.

The public is invited to attend, watch online, or listen on the radio.  Any business not contacted for a donation can contact any Hope Lion.
