Cracklins Heading To The Garden State

Many people know that Hope is not only the Watermelon Capitol but also the Cracklin’ Capitol thanks to the wonderful cracklins from Terry Powell’s Grocery on North Hazel.  We happened to run into  Colby Powell at the Hope Post Office Monday as he was mailing a box of his family’s famous cracklins to New Jersey!  Colby says he often mails cracklins around the country…so if you’re looking for a special gift, how about some cracklins from Terry Powell’s Grocery?
