Delores Kerr

Mrs. Delores Anita Escarre Kerr, age 79, formerly of Prescott, Arkansas passed away Sunday, November 29, 2020. Delores was born January 11, 1941 in Knoxville, Tennessee to Peter Andrew Sr. and Cliffie Opaline Heath Escarre. She graduated from Prescott High School and later received her Masters Degree in Education. She faced many difficult challenges in her life, staring at a young age, but she handled them all with grace and dignity. Delores was a smart, brave, amazing woman with a beautiful soul. She loved helping others, and it showed; Throughout the years, she was an Elementary school teacher, Counselor at Family Connections, Diagnostician for New Caney ISD, a Girl Scout leader and taught life skills to mentally handicapped adults. She also loved singing in the choir and playing the piano. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of thirty years, Ronald M. Kerr; daughter Rona A. Kerr; brothers Joseph Escarre and P.A. Escarre Jr.; Sister-in-law Sharleen Terzian; and her niece Joannie Escarre.

Survivors include: Daughter Rebekah Kerr McCaffrey and Robert; Granddaughters Marissa Ann McCaffrey and Kelly Nicole McCaffrey; Brother-in-Law Murray Kerr and Stella; Nieces Debbie Mathis, Tina Escarre and Devaney Kerr; Nephew Peter Andrew Escarre III, as well as many other beloved family members and friends.
