Gary Dwyane Robinson

Gary Dwyane Robinson, also known as Butch, was born in Hope, Arkansas on August 2, 1965 to Irene (Gulley) Dixon and John Robinson. Gary accepted Christ after being baptized at New Beginning Bibleway Church in Carthage, Texas.


Gary worked for the federal government as an employee of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), with over 20 years of service.  Besides having fun with his grandchildren, Gary’s most favorite pastime was cheering for the Dallas Cowboys football team with family and friends. He was an avid fan.


On Friday, December 11, 2020, Gary unexpectedly passed away in Tenaha, TX. May he rest in peace. Gary is preceded in death by: his parents, Irene Dixon and John Robinson.


Gary is survived by: his four sons, Demario (Justine) Robinson of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, Christopher (Candace) Robinson of Northlake, TX, Quintin Robinson of Portland, Oregon and Brent (Takesa) Chambers of Hope, AR; one daughter, Sharneise Hardimon of Hope, AR; siblings, Robert Dixon of Kissimmee, Florida, Chauncy (Linda) Cannon of Hope, Bobby Robinson of Hope, AR, Stephen (Venitta) Robinson of Forney, TX, Regenia (Ray) Woodberry of Hope, AR, Stacy Robinson of Hope, AR, Renea Robinson of Hope, AR, Sherry Moore of Hope, AR; stepmother, LaVerne Robinson of Hope, AR; seven grandchildren, Ca’Mya, CJ and Calia Robinson of Northlake, TX, London, Micah, Bella Robinson of Cottage Grove, MN and Cassian Robinson of Portland, OR; 3 special granddaughters, Normazi Hardimon, with Halo, and Madison Chambers of Hope, AR; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Homegoing Service – Saturday, December 19, 2020 @ 11am First Baptist Church Gymnasium 315 S Main St., Hope, AR 71801
Interment – New Salem Cemetery, Rosston AR
