Michael Allan Matchett

Michael “Mike” Allan Matchett of Hope passed in his sleep in his home on December 8, 2020 from coronary artery disease and COPD. He was 57 years old.

He was born in Clute Texas February 11, 1963 to Thomas Matchett and Wilma Taylor Matchett. He was a devoted father and loved his children very much. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, arrow head and bottle hunting and knife collecting. He is preceded in death by his mother and his brother Tommy Matchett.

He leaves behind his father, his sisters Linda Miller and Judy Legg, children Haley Lewandowski, Michael Mathew Matchett, Benjamin Matchett, Christopher Matchett and Catherine George, and his grandchildren Eveline Lewandowski, Alivia George and Zayden George.

He was a loving devoted father and will be dearly missed
