The new Poultry Education facility at Southern Arkansas University will be a great asset to Southern Arkansas. Agriculture is the largest industry in Hempstead County and much of our economy is from poultry production. In our county alone, 68% of our farming operations are derived from poultry. We were honored to be able to attend the ribbon cutting yesterday, and to see the commitment that Farm Bureau Insurance has made to our agriculture economy.
