CPL Garrett Vallee from Dierks meet up with Huck Plyler Monday at Amigo Juans for dinner. Huck shipped many boxes to Garrett and his unit in 2019 while he was deployed on the USS Boxer. Huck asked Garrett a thousand questions about being deployed and Garrett was more than happy to answer. Garrett said the number one thing they used the most on the ship from the care packages was books, notebooks, magazines, cards, and dice to keep their mind off of things. Garrett is now moving onto a turbine school and we wish him the best of luck. It was a pleasure to meet him and a joy to send him boxes. We are forever thankful for his service to our country.
