Dennis and Jackie Polk (Kidd) were married on February 26, 1971. The ceremony took place in a small Baptist church parsonage in Nashville, AR, officiated by Bro. A.D. Stuckey. Dennis and Jackie were both raised in Spring Hill, AR where they also raised their own family. Dennis began farming around 1968. He ran meat markets for Safeway Foods and Piggly Wiggly for 25 years while farming. Dennis is a model father and provider for his family. Jackie worked at the Spring Hill school for a short time and helped her parents at their store, Kidd’s Grocery, in Spring Hill, AR while raising their children and helping on the farm. Jackie is the true meaning of wife, mother, and homemaker. Dennis and Jackie have three daughters, Amber and Bill Montgomery, Tara and Kelly Capps, and Heidi and Bruce Calhoun, all of Spring Hill, AR. They have six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren (soon to be nine). Today, together, Dennis and Jackie continue to run the farm while enjoying family and each other.

The family of Dennis and Jackie will hold a celebration February 28th from 2 to 4pm at Timeless Traditions, 474 Hempstead 7.  This will be “come and go” and all friends are cordially invited.
