JA hosting Easter Egg Hunt

By Staff, 03/10/21 2:16 PM

PRESCOTT – Easter is right around the corner, which means the annual Easter Egg Hunt.

This year’s hunt will be different, as the Junior Auxiliary of Nevada County will be hosting it instead of the Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce. Shannon Callicott, a JA member who’s in charge of the hunt, said there will be some changes. This year’s event will be “Brunch with Bunny” and be at the Prescott City Park on April 3. It will be from 10 a.m. until noon and feature a brunch of juice and doughnuts. It is open to children O-12-years-old.

There will be crafts for the children, including making bunny food and helping create signs that will be put on the Bank of Delight and Farmer’s Bank and Trust. The Easter Bunny will be on hand for those parents who want to take pictures of their children with the bunny. However, the JA will not be taking any pictures.

There will be three division of Easter Egg hunters: 0-3 years; 4-7 years; and 8-12 years. There will be no golden egg this year.
