On March 8, 2021 at approximately 11:47am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Marquarius Martin, 20, of Hope, AR and charged him with robbery and possession of firearms by certain persons. The arrest occurred in the 1600 block of North Hazel St. in Hope, AR. Martin was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
On March 10, 2021 at approximately 11:47am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Demetryun Hunter, 18, of Prescott, AR and charged him with aggravated assault. The arrest occurred in the 300 block of South Washington St. in Hope, AR. Hunter was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
On March 10, 2021 at approximately 2:40pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Raymond Welch, 56, of Hope, AR and charged him with 2 counts of domestic battery in the 3rd degree. The arrest occurred in the 600 block of West 16th St. in Hope, AR. Welch was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
On March 12, 2021 at approximately 12:45pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Micheal Harper, 24, of Camden, AR and charged him with sexual indency with a child. The arrest occurred in the 300 block of South Washington St. in Hope, AR. Harper was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
On March 12, 2021 at approximately 2:48pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Carlos Valencia, 34, of Manassas, VA and charged him with theft of auto property. The arrest occurred in the 2000 block of South Main St. in Hope, AR. Valencia was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
