Fire Destroys Mobile Home East of Hope

Fire destroyed a mobile home east of Hope at US278 and county road 54 east of Hope Friday night around 9:15pm.  The Southeast Volunteer Fire Department responded along with the Hempstead County Sheriff’s Department.  There were no injuries.  It is believed the fire was caused by an electrical problem.
