William “Abb” Avery Morman, 87, of Prescott, AR passed away March 25, 2021 in Prescott.

Abb was born December 14, 1933 in Rosston, AR to O.L. “Pete” and Nobie Agnes Schooley Morman.  He was employed for 28 years with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission and was the Nevada County Sheriff for 6 years. Abb was a member and deacon of the Central Baptist Church of Prescott. Abb served on the Bank of Prescott board and Farm Bureau.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his first wife, Billie Ruth Jarvis Morman and later by his second wife,  Melva Alice Steed Morman; two brothers, Richard, and Max Morman; a sister, Shelba Morman; a granddaughter, Malorie Morman and great grandson, Rusty Schultz, and nephew Gary Lynn Morman.

Survivors include three sons, Clark, Mike, and Russell Morman; two daughters, Karen Ward and Terri McJunkins; a brother, Tim Morman; 14 grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, March 28, 2021 at 2:00pm in Rosston Cemetery with Donnie Dillard officiating, under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home of Prescott.
