City of Hope Plans Kids Fishing Derby At Lake Huckabee

The city of Hope Park’s and Recreation Department will hold a Kids Fishing Derby at Lake Huckabee at Fair Park on April 17th.  This is open to youth 15 and under.  You will need to bring your own fishing pole, bait, chair, and bucket.  There will be prizes for the biggest fish caught and the most fish caught.  Registration begins at 8am and fishing will be from 9am to 11am.  For info phone the park office at 777-7500 or visit the City of Hope Parks and Rec Facebook page.
