Slaughter cows 2.00-5.00 higher. Slaughter bulls 1.00-3.00 higher. Quality was average. Preconditioned cattle are receiving a premium. New crop calves are showing up and selling at a discount compared to the yearling type cattle. Supply included: 84% Feeder Cattle (45% Steers, 42% Heifers, 12% Bulls); 14% Slaughter Cattle (84% Cows, 16% Bulls); 2% Replacement Cattle (33% Bred Cows, 67% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 13%.
