Mrs. Frances Ann Koen, age 90, of Hope, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Christus St. Michaels in Texarkana. She was born December 11, 1930, in Loraine, Texas, to James and Alva Dunn. Mrs. Koen was an active member of the community and loved by many. She had an instrumental part in starting Meals On Wheels in Southwest Arkansas; for which she received the Arkansas Traveler Award. She was also a devoted member of Unity Baptist Church in Hope. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands: Howard Triplett and Hillman Koen; daughter, Phyllis Fry; and her brothers: Olen Dunn, Earl Dunn, Harrell Dunn, and Weldon Dunn.

Mrs. Koen is survived by four sons, James Triplett (Kathleen), Robert Triplett, John Triplett, and Larry Triplett, all of Hope, AR; four daughters, Gloria Dillard (Arthur) of Benton, AR, Janet Langmead (James) of Clarksville, MD, Patricia Gilbert (Charles) of Washington, AR, Teresa Deck (Johnie) of Benton, AR; 23 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Unity Baptist Church.

Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 PM Friday, April 9, 2021 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home, 1001 S. Main, Hope, AR 71801.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 10, 2021 in BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Chapel, with Bro. Jay Pollan and Bro. Nick Flowers officiating. Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
