On April 12, 2021 at approximately 12:08am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Uriel Gomez Jr., 21, of Hope, AR and charged him with domestic battery in the 3rd degree, false imprisonment in the 2nd degree, and interference with emergency communications in the 1st degree. The arrest occurred in the 500 block of North Elm Street in Hope, AR. Gomez was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
