EDO golf tourney set

PRESCOTT – There will be an Industrial Appreciation Golf Tournament this year. The date is May 20 at the Prescott Country Club.

Mary Godwin, executive director of the Prescott-Nevada County Economic Development Office, said the tourney will be held this year, though it will be modified. Teams will still be invited to play, but, she added, not as many are expected as several corporations involved are still under COVID-19 protocols. There will be boxed lunches outside, but no program or dinner. While there will still be door prizes, these will either be delivered of mailed to the winners.

The tourney is set to start at 7:30 a.m., with the afternoon flight set for 1 o’clock. However, depending on the number of teams entered, there could only be an afternoon flight.

Invitations will be sent out from the EDO soon.
