Head Start applications being accepted

Would you like for your child to have a Head Start in school? FACT, Inc. is now recruiting for the 2021-2022 Head Start program year.

There are two centers in Nevada County: one in the Nevada School District and one in Prescott on the McRae campus. There are also centers in Hempstead County, one in Blevins beside the administration office and one in Hope on the Yerger campus with three classrooms.

Services are provided at no cost to eligible families. The program serves children from three to five years of age. We also welcome children with special needs. Transportation assistance for children’s health appointments and parent meeting needs will be provided by staff when possible.
