Student vaccinations

Hope High School students Kovell Phillips, Kyra Graves and Richard Ware were among HHS students

receiving Pfizer COVID-19 vaccinations in the first local mass vaccination clinic open to students ages

16 and older. The clinic was conducted at Rising Star Baptist Church in Hope in collaboration with the

April R. Love Foundation, Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield, Arkansas Department of Veterans Affairs

and Bank of America. The students were provided snacks afterward, and Phillips and Graves showed

off some gifts they received, including a backpack, jump drive, pen and phone grip for their
