HPS, ExpressRx set new COVID-19 clinic

and ExpressRx expands to Friday, April 30, at Hope High School.
The sixth clinic will be conducted from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the MAC building at Hope High
School, HPS District Nurse Renee Sells, RN, said.
A total of 1,553 vaccine doses have been administered to date since January through the
partnership clinics.
Registration through Express Rx of Hope is required at
https://ExpressRxVaccinationAppointments.as.me/1330HopeHigh online. Registration by phone
is available at 870-777-4643. Persons without a return email address should use
vaccine@expressrx.net as their return email address for registration purposes.
Completion of the COVID-19 Consent Form provided at www.hpsdistrict.org online is also
required.
A photo ID, insurance card and Medicare card, where applicable, must be presented at the
door. Any form of photo ID is acceptable, and walk-ins are welcome, Sells said.
The Moderna and the Johnson and Johnson vaccines will be available for all individuals ages
18 and over, Sells said. Neither are approved for individuals under age 16. Individuals receiving
the second dosage of Moderna vaccine must also present their COVID-19 vaccination record at
the door.
Sells said individuals who have been given a first dose of the Moderna vaccine are still eligible
for the second dose of the vaccine within 14 days after the minimum 28 day waiting period.
Sells said there is no “out of pocket” cost for either vaccination. Wheelchair service will be
available at the door of the MAC center. Spanish translators will be on site to assist with check
in.
COVID-19 protocols will apply, including:
–Wear loose fitting shirt or blouse for easy access to upper arm.
–Wear a face mask.
–Observe social distancing.
–Be prepared to remain on site for 20 minutes after vaccination.
Parking at HHS will be in designated areas at the north side of the South Main Street entrance.
