Stolen Van leads to Arrest
By Dale Gathright, Jr., 04/27/21 9:27 AMPRESCOTT – On April 21st, at 5:30 am, Officers with the Prescott Police Department responded to Hillcrest Care & Rehabilitation about a stolen 2017 Dodge Caravan belonging to Hillcrest.
Officers were then dispatched to the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office. where officers located the 2017 Dodge Caravan and a suspect.
Officers arrested Misti Avery, 31, of Prescott. Avery was charged with Theft of Property, Possession of Controlled Substance, not methamphetamine/Cocaine, Furnishing, Possessing, or using Prohibited Articles. Ms. Avery was booked into the Nevada County Detention Center.
