Bryant Lafferty passed from this life April 27, 2021 at the age of 71. He was born February 28, 1950 in Hope, AR to Edgar Olen and Lorena Plumbley Lafferty.

He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Larry Kent Lafferty, Garland Lafferty, Gilbert Travis Lafferty; Four sisters, Geraldine Crank, Doris Jean Walker, Francine Robinson, and Veola Aaron.

Left to remember him are his wife, Helen Samuels Lafferty; Two sons, William (Billy) Lafferty, wife Kayla, Douglas Lafferty; One brother, Jimmy Lafferty, wife Wanell of Texas City, TX; One sister, Diva Thomas of Texarkana. Four grandchildren, Elizabeth Lafferty, Emma Lafferty, Ella Lafferty, Mackenzie Lafferty; Two step-grandchildren, Kenzie and Karson Taylor; Two step-sons, Greg and Jim Samuels and many nieces and nephews.

He was a member of Hope Church of Christ, where he attended as long as his health allowed. He was the owner of Lafferty Heat and Air, and enjoyed his lifelong vocation of heating and A/C. He was a firm believer that anything could be repaired. He loved duck hunting, deer hunting, fishing. He spent many hours watching wildlife from his pool room windows; He loved the outdoors. But above all, He loved the Lord.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 3:30 pm in Central Church of Christ, Hwy 29 S, Hope, AR.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 4:00 pm in Central Church of Christ with Mr. Jerry Nance and Mr. Barry Haynes officiating. Interment will follow at Central Cemetery.
