Walk To Raise Awareness And Funds For Lupus Is Planned In Hope

Saturday, May 29, 2021, Hope, AR, beginning at 9:00 AM, Risen:11 will be hosting its 1st Annual Lupus 1 Mile Walk. We will be walking to raise awareness and funds for Lupus. Lupus is an autoimmune disease caused when the immune system attacks its own tissues, and can affect the joints, skin, kidneys, blood cells, brain, heart, and lungs.

We are needing to raise money to ensure there are adequate funds to support our organization in assisting anyone who may struggle with Lupus Disease that meets our organization’s guidelines.

The walk will be held at the Hope Fair Park, beginning at the park’s entrance way on Saturday, May 29, 2021, starting at 9AM, and the route will be provided the day of.

Camelle Nelson, Founder of Risen 11, stated, “Rising Above Any Situation is our motto. It’s important that we reach our goal, that way we can help someone who is struggling with Lupus Disease that may not have the necessary intangibles. Help us as we try and help others!”
