Mrs. Janell Messer, age 79 of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Sunday May 16, 2021, at the local hospital. Mrs. Janell was born August 9, 1941 to Benjamin and Pearl Prince Robinson, in Hope, Arkansas. She was a retired beautician from Classic Cut Beauty Salon and a member of Unity Baptist Church in Hope. She loved to work with crafts and spend time with family. She will be truly missed by those who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carrol Messer; two brothers, Laymond “Bud” Robinson and Raymond “Bo” Robinson; five sisters, Mildred Galloway, Vonnie Haltom, Doris Jones, Erma Viarengo, and Ann Butler.

Those left to cherish her memory are her: son, Tony Messer (Trish) of Rosston, AR; daughters, Pam Adkins of Ashdown, AR, Dana Leslie (Brian) of Hope, AR; sisters, Martha Sallee of Hope, AR, Delores Purtle of Hope, AR. Five grandchildren: Trent Messer, Drake Hargis, Caitlyn Leslie, Sam Leslie, Elizabeth Leslie; two great-grandchildren, Maverick Messer and Riverlyn Leslie; a host of friends and loved ones.

A Chapel service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home, with Bro. Charles Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Snell Cemetery in Emmet, AR.
