Ty Frederick Receives Donna Potter Scholarship

Ty Frederick has been awarded the Donna Potter Memorial Scholarship. A graduate of Elkins High School, Ty plans to attend Northwest Technical Institute for welding and continue his career in metal fabrication.
Ty is the son of Donna’s oldes son. He is the son of Troy and Mandy Reed and Rex and Sherry Frederick all of Elkins.
Donna was Ty’s “Granny Donna” and he says he was “beyond blessed” to have her be a part of his life.
Donna Potter was a long-time writer for HopePrescott.com and passed away in 2017. HopePrescott.com owner Wendell Hoover established the scholarship in her memory.
