On May 29, 2021 at approximately 10:45am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Orfa Salazar, 34, of Hope, AR and charged her with domestic battery in the 3rd degree, domestic battery in the 2nd degree, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and served a failure to appear warrant. The arrest occurred in the 400 block of Caney Creek Drive in Hope, AR. Salazar was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
